Forms and email

When you use a form on this site (contact, review, library request, edition notification or the Chapter 1 sign-up), the details you enter are emailed to the Life in Woke America team and kept in a private record on our own web server so we can respond. We also note which page you used and, where available, how you found the site (for example a campaign link). Provide only the information needed for your request.

Chapter 1 sign-ups are also added to our email list, run by Brevo, which sends the chapter and occasional updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can ask us to remove you at any time.

We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and analytics

On your first visit we ask whether you accept analytics and advertising cookies. If you decline, no analytics or advertising cookies are set. If you accept, we may use Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand visits and measure which campaigns bring readers to the book. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. The site also remembers your light/dark theme and cookie choice in your browser.

Hosting providers and third-party resources (such as embedded videos) may process routine technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, and request logs under their own policies.

Third-party links

Links to booksellers, media platforms, and other websites are governed by those services’ privacy practices.

Liberty Scorecard

The Liberty Scorecard is currently presented as a framework and application concept. The public website does not collect fingerprints, eye or iris scans, Social Security information, or other biometric identity data for Liberty Scorecard participation.
